Real marble is the crème de la crème of course but if you aren t in a position to have carrera marble or something equally beautiful consider painting a realistic faux version. Remember to paint the veins over the edge of the tabletop as well.

If desired sponge on lighter shades of green to soften the tabletop and add more depth to the surface. Paint your base color i would recommend extra white sw 7006 for this. Dip a detail brush in diluted white or very light green paint and add fine lines to simulate veins. With a soft dry and clean paintbrush lightly dab over the vein lines to lighten and blur them.
